DO YOU HAVE JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN? DO YOU OFFER PART-TIME OPTIONS?
Millpond Academy offers programs for students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8. At this time, we are not able to accommodate part-time enrolment.
Our kindergarten program is designed as a full-time experience so that students can fully participate in the learning, activities, and community of the classroom. We have found that part-time schedules can sometimes cause children to miss important learning experiences and special activities that take place throughout the week. A full-time program helps ensure that every child benefits from the complete and enriching experience our program provides.

DO YOU TEACH THE ONTARIO SEX ED CURRICULUM?
We do not offer designated Health Classes to teach this curriculum, instead we actively promote open and honest discussions about these essential topics such as hygiene, puberty, healthy living, drug safety, consent, diversity, and more. We emphasize that parents are the primary source of information and guidance at home however these topics are still open for discussions at school as well. These conversations are extremely important for families to be having with their children and we believe they should permeate various lessons and discussions throughout a child's education. By fostering ongoing dialogue both at school and within families, we aim to empower students to become safe, healthy, and informed individuals who can navigate life confidently.

At Millpond we welcome people of any race, gender, sexual orientation, and national or ethnic origin.
